What is the logic behind him being able to claim the castle? Again, based on an Online Gotha, Prince Gustav's great-grandfather had 3 sons.
Prince Gustav descends from the first son (all the other males in this line seem to be have married unequally and are presumably excluded), Prince Ludwig-Ferdinand descends from the third son (and he himself has married a Countess), but the second son also has living male descendants who appears (to me at least) having contracted perfectly "suitable" marriages, again to a Countess.
On what basis does Prince L-F assert his claims override that of the descendants of the second son?
Bizarre.
