Thank you, thank you, Torkel for posting those pictures. Oh, how I love the national dress. The colors and designs are wonderful. The violin music was so perfect. It makes me wonder why we don't see more of those types of ceremonies to mark special moments in someone's life.
There are five official pictures, all posted on this webpage by Norwegian national broadcaster NRK: https://www.nrk.no/norge/prinsessa-ingrid-alexandra-blir-konfirmert-1.14682357#album-1-14682419
Three pictures show Princess Ingrid Alexandra.
One picture, posted in my previous post, shows her with her godparents, King Harald, maternal grandmother Marit Tjessem, King Felipe of Spain, Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Princess Märtha Louise.
Another picture shows her with her parents, grandparents and siblings Prince Sverre Magnus and Marius Borg Høiby.
Princess Ingrid Alexandra is wearing a bunad (traditional Norwegian folk dress) from the Telemark county where her mother´s family originates. The dress and accompanying jewels are the gift of the King and Queen. Queen Sonja is wearing version of the same bunad, whereas Crown Princess Mette-Marit is wearing the bunad from Hardanger county.
Tusen hjertelig takk Torkel
