C-G's father died aged only 41.
Had he lived up to his 90s, like his father and grand-father, C-G could have inherited the throne only c. 1996, 23 years later than he succeeded his gr.father.
God forbid, if the Pr. Wales would preceed QE II, then Pr.William could have a reign as long as his grand-mother's, while in the other case, Charles might have a short reign, kind of a second Edward VII.
