Top Demented Intense Grappling star Charley Hawse has requested both DIG and Big Stewie Entertainments officials for a title match against General Zod, recognized as both the DIG and International heavyweight champion. “I’ve come a long way in my brief time here with DIG,” Hawse said in an interview. “The DIG fans have been behind me all the way, and I want to thank them by being their champion.” When asked why he contacted Big Stewie officials, Hawse said, “General Zod is not just our champion, he’s their champion, too. I want the DIG championship, but it’s also my intention to challenge Zod for that International title, too. I can think of nothing better than to bring the one, true, unified International championship here to Demented Intense Grappling.”

According to our sources, DIG promoter Dr. Dementia is quite keen on Hawse’s idea. A spokesman for Big Stewie Entertainments chairman Porky Hooton said, “We will be getting together with their officials later in the week, and we will consider any and all ideas. While we won’t get into specifics here, I can say Mr. Hooton and our officials are very intrigued with the idea you mentioned.” General Zod was apparently unavailable for comment.
