I talked to Sully yesterday and he said they were trying to get a guy, from the company that installed the lights, down there real soon to fix the lights. But the guy was working a job up north and was working his way down so hopefully they’ll be fixed soon.
I know the field needs mix too. But the problem is the drainage. Myself and about 10 other guys and women worked on the field last year and dumped a crap ton of dirt on that field and I literally watched all of that work get wiped out the next week playing for Spectrum, all those guys witnessed that rain ruin that field in 30 minutes. So the real question is, before we piss away thousands of dollars in dirt. When is the parking lot going to be fixed that was promised to us. I’d rather have that fixed first, instead of breaking my back for nothing again.
In the interim, I took off work on Friday to work in the field for Saturday. I know dragging it will only push the dirt around but I’ll try to level it and try to do my part. And IMO, that’s the only thing worth doing until the parking lot is fixed unless you want $2,000 worth of dirt to be washed into Chuckie’s swimming pool. The only thing that will make the field look good is fixing the big problems and then putting in grunt work after that.
Sorry for the long post, F* I’m starting to sound like SD.
