I just saw some guy on Face Book who listens to songs he's never heard of or groups/bands he's never heard their music. Beach Boys was one and he was absolutely blown away with the harmony and arrangements. He listened to 3 songs. I commented that Brian Wilson was a genius. I also commented that when they were first heard on the radio, I lived in Hermosa Beach with a few of my friends and their music was THE sound. I also mentioned we did what was called Surfer Stomp dance.(laugh) Then, in the 70s they became noticed by young teens, which my girls were at that time. They were thrilled with them and surprised they started when I was a teen. I even took them to a beach nearby Panama City, where we lived so they could see them perform live on the beach in 1982. Then, after I bought this house in Bullhead City, I saw them perform again in Laughlin, NV in 2007. Their music just endures.
