We bought a Simca for my daughter's first car. The biggest joy my husband had was pulling into a gas station and telling them to put $2 worth of gas in. (They never could get it all in!) Gas was a whole lot cheaper than now. I loved that wee car.
We had a little aluminum rowboat on top of it, going fishing, 4 people in the car, and the wind hit us just right and turned it over on it's side. The guys got out and set it back up straight and we continued to the lake~tho the boat had some dents.
