As an adult teen, I bought my first car. It was a French Simca. It cost $500. I had $200 and my brother co-signed so I could borrow $300 from the bank. It had 5 gears and the front seat back lowered. I said I had a bed that made into a car. I had it until a few years after I married and then we sold it to the guy across the street who fixed it up for his wife to drive. I cried.
