Sort out the corners

Just watched a rerun of the whole game and our corners were in general very poor - can’t believe DC hasn’t identified how much more of an attacking threat a well placed corner kick can be

The first game that Norwood played the corner kicks were excellent. Long over the top to Horsefall on the back stick to nod it back into the danger area.

I can never understand why all the players congregate in and around the keeper and six yard box. Have them spread out on the edge of the eighteen yard box and sprint in when the ball is on its way would be very difficult to defend against.

Piergianni is another danger from corners. He takes a run at the ball.
And you need out swinging corners for that.

On a serious note though, it really does rankle with me how we keep stumbling from one lot of dodgy politicians to others seemingly worse. Cash for questions, cash for contracts, second homes, freebies, bungs, awarding contracts to mates, awarding contracts to family members etc. etc. I suppose it is too much to expect that those running our country are honest and straight?

It's still too early to fully understand what the budget will bring and how it will affect pensioners but if the predictions come to fruition I honestly believe that there'll be some kind of kick-back.

Anyway, apologies all for the political post on a match night. Not my usual style, I prefer a rant about football to politics.

Come on County - 2-1 win tonight.

What makes me somewhat annoyed is that whilst Starmer and his colleagues were slagging the Conservatives off for their misdemeanors they were at the same time taking bungs, bribes and gifts on an industrial scale. They need locking up.

And of special interest should be Lord Alli and all his various dealings and gifts.

Jeremy Hunt was trying to give a bit of a wake up call to the Tories at their conference this week. The only demographic the Tories lead in is the over-60s. Maybe Starmer playing hardball with the winter fuel allowance to see if some wont be around for the next election!

To be fair you read the preaching from some of these young university educated and self proclaimed experts on every topic you want to mention, and you really do have to fear for the future of the UK.

A key requirement for any job in Government should be that you have had a real job for at least five years and you’ve not taken any bribes/gifts. That rules out a fat chunk of the current government 😳

According to you, Cameron was at his peak when he announced the referendum.

36% of voters reaching their peak and 20% of voters at their peak failed to vote in the referendum.

35-45 year olds had 68-75% turnout (getting higher as they got older)

As you can see from the image below, that age group actually had some of the highest turnouts
