On a serious note though, it really does rankle with me how we keep stumbling from one lot of dodgy politicians to others seemingly worse. Cash for questions, cash for contracts, second homes, freebies, bungs, awarding contracts to mates, awarding contracts to family members etc. etc. I suppose it is too much to expect that those running our country are honest and straight?
It's still too early to fully understand what the budget will bring and how it will affect pensioners but if the predictions come to fruition I honestly believe that there'll be some kind of kick-back.
Anyway, apologies all for the political post on a match night. Not my usual style, I prefer a rant about football to politics.
