As predicted by the football savants on here Stevie Bruce is so useless that he has racked up three league wins on the bounce. Well done lads. Only the goggle-eyed derangeoid Tony Blair would even attempt to pretend the words they wrote accommodated W-W-W in his first three league games.

You saying he is going to be a raging success? How long are you predicting he will be there? How many promotions do you think he will achieve? 3 games is a small sample.

I said not to underestimate him and now he has won three league games on the trot. Not too shabby for an old bloke. You think his appointment is a financial mistake – ‘implode’ – but factor in i) His stats show his niche is that he can quickly elevate unfancied teams, and ii) Even if you guessed right and he is expensive he is still a fiscally prudent one or two season punt at promotion when you offset his one wage against (for example) an annual wage bill of £20m for Ipswich to get out of League One in 22/23. Clever move.

I hope it works out for Blackpool - they went through the mill with the Oystons. Bruce just seems to be part of the same old same old

I went there this season expecting mither, being wrapped up and a crap day, total opposite- how times change.
