So despite being in our highest league position,for a very long time,why have we had our best start to a season more than almost anybody can remember.
Where do people think we have improved most.
Goalkeeper and defense
Midfield
Upfront
One for me today Norwood to Horsfall at corners pinpoint.

Gk and midfield. We won the game without Bate playing too. Even without Tanto until late on. Norwood was sublime, and Feverier again caught the eye. Heard another big signing on the way, hope it's not fake news

The GK gives me the jitters every time he starts playing the ball around the box. Two of his long kicks down the middle have lead directly to goals, whereas dodgy short passes around the box have put us under needless pressure at times IMO.

Agree. He does make the crowd edgy but has obviously been told to do what he does and he does it with a swagger. He mixed it up well yesterday -sometimes going long, sometimes short just like at Blackpool. IMHO it catches the opposition off guard and sucks them into our half.
They were a tall, physical team with a lively CF. They looked dangerous from set pieces. That made me feel edgier than Addai’s ball distribution.
I thought Norwood was good without being spectacular. Good corners, nice long passes out to Fevrier and lots of easy 10 yard balls sideways and backwards to keep control (oh and one forgettable free kick that nearly cleared the scoreboard end).
Woots was clear M-O-M closely followed by Horsfall and Pye (all IMHO of course).

We can’t afford to play predominantly long ball. We wouldn’t get any loanees in from Premer League clubs, nor would we get much in transfer fees if our players don’t play how teams further up the ladder play.

Louis Barry from a side further up the ladder won’t complain about playing it long from the keeper. Two of his goals came from route one balls from the keeper.
Have watched EFL highlights from Saturday. By my reckoning four goals came from tippy tappy around the box, including both goals Bolton conceded in their 2-0 defeat.

Adnan Cirak …. the biggest fraud ever to pull on a County shirt. At least we knew Conlon was suffering from personal demons. In Conlon’s last home game for us, when he came on as sub, I swear he was under the influence as he didn’t seem to know which way we were kicking.

Cirak though, was just crap. Away at Mansfield that season I was in the home end with some Mansfield supporting friends. I casually mentioned early doors that the Stockport no.9 was the worst footballer you’ll ever see. The Mansfield fans spent most of the game watching Cirak, shocked at how bad he was. Legend, up there with Ludovic Dje, Adie Mike, Wayne Phillips, Chris Armstrong, John Stapleton, Michael Symes, Ross Killick, Bohan Dixon, Brad Jones and that German-Turk from Scunny who had the wonky knee.

Yeah, there was definitely a plan there with those Norwood corners. Kept thinking he'd hit them too long but they were just landing on Horsfall's head time after time.

Wootton looks like 10 times the player we saw last season too; he's gone from winning very little in the air to winning almost everything. Collar being back and playing in and around Wootton is really paying off too.
