I seem to remember they might have originally planned a covered walkway from the station to bus station, but may be they had to reduce costs somewhere. So much work going on and great they are redeploying the area to the west of the city centre. So much more to come there. The next big area ripe for redevelopment would be Portwood for me, including Vernon Mill and the area around it. Would be popular so close to the motorway and town centre. I wonder when they’ll finally get round to knocking the old Sainsbury’s down and doing that redevelopment.
