How many of those include legal and illegal immigrants? How many were added due to Covid, or indeed what impact have the various NHS strikes had?
The NHS is in a shameful state, of that there can be no doubt having witnessed it myself at Stepping Hill earlier this week.
IMHO this is down to abysmal management and a layer of pen pushers. How can you have thousands of members of staff earning significant six figure salaries for what is effectively just administrative work?
