There is a surprising amount of home video film out there of Edgeley in 1967/68, and a lot of the time the corner of the RE and PopSide (with the old rear barrel roof) sneak into view.
I’ve got half a dozen of the old 9B cast iron smokebox plates that used to fix to the front of Edgeley based steam locos. 9B Edgeley plates seem to be easier to get hold of than 9F Heaton Mersey plates.
A shame that steam locomotives on the mainline is likely to be a rarity in 2024 due to the main tour operator currently being suspended from oprating due to a row over locking carriage doors.
