That is truly one of the best days ever supporting County. The family sat behind me and my dad were drinking some sort of alcohol mixed in a plastic bottle. Think it went flying up in the air for the third goal and covered us all, never to be seen again. I was working nights at Manchester airport and some of the day shift were City fans. A small Christmas tree had been put up so I wrote 3-1 on every bauble. Was really surprised when the tree wasn't torn down. 🤣 |
