Cartier Industries have done it again!!

    Yes!

After our win against Dagenham, instead of supping yourselves senseless down the boozer…come and join us for the PORTWOOD ROUNDABOUT INAUGURAL CINEMA KALEIDOSCOPE SPECTACULAR!!

    That’s right!

We’re having an exciting movie experience in a huge tent placed in the centre of Portwood Roundabout where the beer (once the modest entrance fee has been paid) is free!
Smoking will be allowed and nobody will stop you from shouting and swearing!

    FANTASTIC!

It’ll be a superb and relaxing night out under canvas as you take in a classic piece of Hollywood history!

    MAGICAL!

We thought long and hard before we came up with a film befitting such a prestigious night’s enjoyment.
First suggested was The Godfather trilogy but I felt it might disturb the neighbours when 500 County fans retired out into the night after another 9 hours of drinking…especially as it would be gone 4am….so I ditched that idea but considered showing The French Lieutenant’s Woman but eventually decided against it as it’s a bit s***.

    NOT S***!!

Picture the scene you’re relaxing (perhaps with a loved one) in the comfortable Morcambe District Council deckchair (‘borrowed’ from the beach by Oaf, Hampton and The Dingler)…and legendary screen idol Charlton Heston in his souped up Roman chariot whizzes past in Technicolor!

    Wow!

You’ll maybe feel a tear forming in your eye as Julie Andrews comforts the kids against the Nazi menace before indulging in a rousing chorus of one of the many tunes she knocked out in The Sound of Music.

    GASP!

    Breakfast at Tiffany’s anyone?
NO!…beer and gaspers in a Russian army surplus bell tent for us!!!

    LUXURY!

Here at the Cartier Industries board meeting of P.R.I.C.K.S. we’ve being up all night dining on Pot Noodles and out of date cans of Carling to try to decide which classic movie to show first….I eventually decided there could be only one film that encapsulates the glamour, the glitz and the pure spirit of Hollywood when Tinseltown was at its best!

    CLASSIC!

Holiday on the Buses will start at 8.30 sharp.
    DON’T be late!

    ENJOY!

…entrance fee (£105.67)…no concessions…no refunds if fire breaks out.
