I get you and to be honest, where I was comparing PPG below, it was to demonstrate that there is very little between either.
Next week Rusk's PPG could be higher, then the week after it could be lower again. The difference is negligible and doesn't serve much of a purpose as a comparison.
I do object to the idea that Rusk has come in and all of a sudden things have changed for the better, because they haven't really. Where there's been an uptake in home form, there's been a drop in away form. The style of football hasn't improved (that's not to say it won't eventually, but it hasn't yet) and there hasn't been an obvious benefit to the change yet.
I think the acceptance that Gannon has gone and isn't coming back is there for most now. I think any talk of Rusk going is silly, as he'll be here next season even if County were to miss out on the playoffs. He might not get much further into next season if things went that way, but they aren't going that way now.
Rusk will be given the chance to make it work and if he does then there's very little to be unhappy with him for.
