Needs to be coached to pass the ball forward more. I suspect the constant passing back is a tactic unfortunately. Paired with the right midfielder he would be good. The whole team needs to work on one touch football. Get the ball played forward quickly and be more slick. Instead of this put a foot on it, take a couple of touches play it safe by passing backwards. It’s very boring, achieves nothing other than giving the opposition time to set which then makes them harder to break down.
