The comparison with RM was not mine but there is much in common and plain speaking isn't one.
"Telling it like it is" is as rare as rocking horse shit these days. Businessmen and women, Politicians and more seem to feel that perceptions are more important than answers. I'm beginning to feel that the club had little or no choice in having to dismiss Jim as clearly they didn't want to! (sarcastic emoji).
The statement that was released from the Club wasn't the only alternative but it seems to have achieved its intention - for people to interpret the reasons behind Jims departure without actually knowing.
