Got plenty of my own views but social media in its many forms is an absolute cesspit at the moment, and getting involved in the to-ing and fro-ing wouldn't do my state of mind much good. All I will say is that yesterdays announcement about Tier 3 will give me time and opportunity to keep up the therapy of writing about my memories of following County. So I dug out the calendar. 21st October. The records tell me I made a trip to the County Ground Northampton back in 1978 - it was one of the first longer distance trips I made. A 2-2 draw was a decent outcome. Just to jog the memory of the 'longer in tooth' here's the line-up.
