The difference between the EFL and National League is that EFL club have funding from broadcasters in place worth several million per Club.
The payments to National League clubs is next to nothing.
Furthermore the EFL found a way of broadcasting Championship games.
I'm concerned we will just get forgotten about at our level. The EFL starts at the beginning of September, but our league has been pushed back to October.
I think the National League are just hoping that crowds will be allowed back into grounds by October, but don't have any contingency plans in place.
The National League should be lobbying the government, EFL, FA, etc to create a contingency fund to help Clubs out at our level. They should also be working with a commercial partner to make sure the games can be live streamed next season on a pay per view basis.
