I'm hardly a prolific poster and had stepped away from YB whilst the pandemic has raged. No footy meant nothing to talk about on here - for me anyway.
So after the signings and other comings and goings over the last couple of weeks I thought I'd have a look.
First of all - many thanks to scb for getting me back up and running with the password / login issue. Appreciated
The question of which Board seems to have dominated things. For me this Board has been a staple diet for donkeys years - I like it and I'm not keen on the format of the other one. But each to his own - I suspect that at the age of 66 adopting change is getting more difficult!!
Turning to other things. I've been confined to barracks for 17 weeks. It's given me the chance to take up a project I started 3 or 4 years ago. 57 years of watching County is being recorded. My thoughts about the games; the players; the managers; the board room nonsenses; administration and beyond and a lot of personal reflections weaved around the (180!) grounds I've seen us play on.
It's been a therapeutic exercise at a time when normal activity had to cease. It's not finished yet but the idea is to publish it all on a website (and learning how to set one up has been jnteresting as well!). I've set a target of prior to the new season starting, and if I understand things correctly this could be the start if October.
