We were circa 2.5 trillion in (Government) debt prior to the pandemic emerging. Debt was in the same ball park as GDP. When the decks are cleared, the virus banished and the cheering has stopped it will be a figment of our imagination and all the debt will be down to the pandemic. The media will concur with this and austerity will start again.
Sunak is Cummings man. He appointed him after he sacked Javid for refusing to get rid of his team. I can understand that Tories like yourself like to see the best in your own people but don't you think that treating an unelected Civil Servant as fireproof is worrying.
Cummings is setting the agenda. Why are you happy with that.
