I'd call that common sense. Yet this govt didn't do so. Again, cost us two weeks. How much time has it cost for tests to be manufactured for NHS workers, between when it should've happened & for Peston to chase it up? And why was Gove's initial response to make up a lie about lack of supplies, instead of at least going "we'll get on that right away"?
