It could be that there is an aim to bring in players of varying ages so that we have a squad that are at varying points in their careers. I don't, know just an idea.
The issue at Salford is somewhat deeper than just a straightforward case of "not good enough" though. The owners have ploughed millions into their project and now they have hit the proverbial bump in the road they need someone to blame.
The Manager has had issues with a lot of his players so they have had to decide do they replace the Manager and have the subsequent upheaval that appointing a new Manager creates or sell players who have had a relationship issue with the Manager.
