It certainly does take a load off Jim BUT is that what Jim really wants, maybe he prefers to be the one in total control of all football matters?
Jim had for a long time 100% control now he has to include the opinions and directions of another extremely qualified professional so which of them has more power, who would be the final arbitrator, the final decision maker?
It is possible that Jim sees his current position has been undermined and until he makes a public statement to fully endorse the appointment of his colleague the worse it will seen by his critics as "sour grapes"
Jim needs to speak now to prevent negativity
! Moving forward it’s accepted that Jim is extremely strong willed and potentially volatile and if there should be a disagreement between them that is when we will really know who has the power and influence!
