I'm sorry but that's just pitiful. You know nothing about how Mark Stott runs his businesses and he's certainly not a mate of yours so stop calling him 'Mark' as if he is.
To answer your question though. What happens if a business is failing because of poor management? In my experience, if it's a well run business then the manager either becomes more effective, or they move on. But here's the thing- were not failing. We're in the top half of a full-time football league, as one of the few part-time football teams in that league. We've got a chance of being promoted out of even that league into a fully full-time one- which would be something that hasnt happened for many years for a part-time team I believe.
To any objective person looking in from the outside (eg Hartlepool or Halifax fans I talked to Saturday, since you were casting doubt on whether people who post on here to to games) that means we're succeeding. That the players are achieving more collectively than would reasonably be expected of them, given what is known or can be reasonably surmised about how many of them there are and what level of wages they're on compared to the competition.
Questions for you: If a team is performing above reasonable expectations, how much credit do you think it's coach/manager is due? Eg based on whatever may be your own experiences of teams (football, work, whatever) in operation?
considering the resources at the manager's disposal, what league position at end of this season would you judge us to have had a successful season?
