No set up or system works 100% of the time, but the way Jim prefers to play has brought us a great deal of success in his time with us. I personally like it and find it a more attacking formation than people give it credit for. It’s versatile, adaptable and produces results.
As for Lloyd I have no memory of him playing as a central striker for us other than maybe chasing a goal at the end of a game, which is something Sam Minihan was doing against Dorking last week so I’m not sure that really counts. We’ve played two up top a few times this season and have looked no more threatening than when we’ve played one, in fact we’ve tended to offer less.
