Very strange when it's only a few weeks ago when the 'is Jim lying' thread appeared after someone claimed that
"Gannon has said he has budget to sign players and is happy with it.
If you are disputing that, you are basically calling Gannon a liar."
Obviously that was an incredibly stupid thing to say, given the nuances in Gannon's 'happy budget' comment, but JK's statement is pretty clear cut. However, when I quoted it on here, in the 'horses mouth' thread, it was followed by all sorts of bollox reasons why walker might have left. It seemed as though some folk were desperate to show that walker left for any reason but us not being able to offer full time!
Does anyone (obviously apart from the author of the quoted statement) really think that offering an alternative to a comment means that you are calling someone a liar, and, therefore (to paraphrase).....
JK has said walker left because we weren't able to offer him full time.
If you are disputing that, you are basically calling JK a liar.
For obvious reasons I've not revealed the identities of the author of the original liar question or those doubting walker left due to us not being able to offer full time.
