Gannon apparently said something like he had a budget and he is happy with it.
How is that more 'direct' than JK saying walker left because we could not offer full time?
The debate over the budget was whether it would be sufficient to bring in quality permanent replacements for the players who left in the summer. Gannon's comment could literally mean his budget £50grand or £75grand or £175grand.
JK's statement was that walker left because we could not offer full time.
Nothing about offering him double what Fylde offered or indeed anything about the money he was offered.
JK's comment was a lot more 'direct' than Gannon's. Are you are disputing what JK said?
