"We've had the sad news through this morning that my uncle Paul, better known around these parts as Hippy, has passed away peacefully in his sleep last night after a short battle with a couple of types of cancer.

A lot of you will have known him from his various stages of involvement whether that was being the admin of MMMB, a staunch member of the Trust and a pivotal part in getting Trust ownership from CS, an old school Yellow Blocker and just a long term County sufferer.

I owe a lot to that man for bringing me with him when I was around 6/7 years old to getting my first season ticket in 2000 with him and just being a great uncle and friend over the years, he's got a lot to answer for there!!

Rest easy Unc, you were a great man!"
