Mr Stott reminds me very much of myself as chief of Cartier Industries.
I’ve sponsored a player Szymon Czubik, ex County who went on to play for FC Humber.
When he scored the stadium announcer shouted “Goalscorer for Humber, Szymon Czubik sponsored by Cartier Industries of Stockport!!”
This caused bemusement I the crowd as when they Googled Cartier Industries all that came up was inane waffle about Pot Noodles and men living in a bin shed.
Also…I made no money as I forgot to work out how to.
Still. The good folk of Humber were confused so I consider the £50 investment as a success!
STILL have ‘(Orson) Cartier Industries (Stockport)’ T-shirts left.
