But when it ended, in my inebriated state I put the phone handset down on the fax machine and went to bed. This meant that Megson continued to merrily talk about Ian Moore for the next seven hours or so while everyone was asleep. Obviously racking up a bill of £190...
And it was the reason why at a subsequent stag do they got me a shirt with "0891 County" on the back...
My father was a County fan like my grandfather before :-)
