I think stillager has explained why the attendance was lower, but we are still seeing big gaps in the Cheadle End and Pop Side, when games are meant to be sold out. I'd say there are comfortably 200 to 300+ empty seats in these stands on a regular basis.

The Co-op will be asking the Club to look at a scheme where season ticket holders can sell their ticket back, if they cannot attend the game, so it gives others fans a chance to attend.
