And as I've said elsewhere, our style of play has evolved since then. Everything we've done this season has been built round having Wootton as the point striker. And we've done pretty bloody well out of it. Yes it would be nice if he chipped in with more goals here and there. But players who can do what he does for the team as well as adding more goals are likely to be top end Championship or PL quality players and that will be reflected in their price.
