I posted the same thing a couple of weeks ago and said we needed a player like Croasdale, but an upgrade and got pilloried.
Bate doesn’t have the physical presence to do the job that Croasdale did at the level we were at then.
Bate is a good player but not in a Croasdale type role.
I also think Camps is wasted sitting in front of the back four.
The most disappointing player for me so far is Norwood. Is he on holiday for the rest of his contract?

Last night we fell into the same trap as against Orient (and Wycombe were far better than them).
Abandon playing out from the back and lump it to Wootton who was up against 2 giant CB’s (same as Orient).
Also, we have had good success in games when playing Will Collar as a 10 feeding off scraps created by Wootton.
Why change it last night by playing Fiorini there? Answer: because he was being asked to play a midfield role that should be commanded by Norwood/ Fiorini. What a mess.
Expect a 0-0 draw on Saturday after that football lesson last night.
