Yep,kids footy is booming from 5/6 up to 18. Then thats it ! Had some fantastic players come through into the senior teams at Georgians over the last few years but lost plenty who follow bliars dream of partying at UNI for a few years,useless degrees, big debts and no football !! As for Sundays, can remember near enough every pub in town having a footy team, but further education,drugs,the rise in standards in Sat football, where our better players are no longer allowed to play Sundays and indeed are in many cases blocked by their sat clubs from doing so ,crap council support, pitches,changing facilities etc,,crap FA support and the smoking ban in pubs has finished Sunday football off.
