What I bought in 1965 was a 50 gallon oil drum and a few used cylinder vacuum cleaners and was given a used pump that had started life delivering petrol on a garage forecourt. That was that basis of my ETM.
It had nowhere near the power of every machine I have built and used since but I read of many aspiring to enter our industry with equipment that would be hard pressed to beat a bath towel in extraction.
