
I was very impressed with Joyce with her very clear spot on recollections, from so many years ago. At 90 she is as sharp as a tack, something we all no doubt would like to gravitate to, if so lucky. I had heard that the album cover of Jim appearing in the tan jacket was super imposed. She actually mentioned the name of the person who wore the jacket.
I have her book which I bought many years ago. I must say, that I agree the book was a tad under whelming. Interesting parts, but no punch lines as it were. But as I recall the price was right.
I remember Joyce posting story lines of her experience working with Jim, here on the Forum. She has not posted in years which I still miss. I believe at that time she was a cashier at a Walmart and had many chance encounters with customers who actually knew who she was. Can you imagine !
