I suggested exactly what you propose now, a while back.
It is long overdue.
A documentary on Jim Reeves is necessary, not only because it is timely and deserved, but because of the disgraceful way he was slighted in the Ken Burns PBS alleged history of Country Music.
Burns series was incomplete and disgraceful.
Reeves influence, and the spread of "The Nashville Sound" worldwide is surely deserving of a feature production.
Previous documentaries on Reeves, the tribute albums in existence, and the number of artists today that admire his voice, should make production relatively easy.
Not to mention information available in the "Untold Story".
Elton John, Sissel, and Daniel O'Donnell come to mind as Reeves fans in the modern era. I'm sure there are more.
Jim Reeves following is still strong if YouTube postings are an indicator.
What individual, group, or entity, could get this moving?
