Notice that the piano player is not reading a typical line score or sheet music. He is reading notations based on the Nashville numbering system which I explain in my book, "Jim Reeves: His Untold Story." It was a concept credited to one of the Jordanaires, for changing keys to accommodate individuals singers without having to rewrite the music. It's like shorthand, only for music.
