I stopped overthinking it and just tested both in real tasks. Mobile proxies felt more dynamic and flexible, while residential ones were more stable and predictable during longer sessions. Instead of reading endless comparisons, I just tried buy mobile proxies first and then added residential later. Only after using both in practice did it become clear which one fits specific workflows better.
