The weather has triggered an abundance of pesty insects this year like never before and I've been battling infestation. Although using a flea preventative on Maggie every month, some were found on her during her last grooming which set off an alarm. Every day and sometimes twice she patiently endures a thorough inspection from stem to stern for any sign of visitors. Luckily, her coloration allows for good visibility. I've contracted professionals to treat the yard and my house cleaning habits have been elevated to an almost paranoia level. Hopefully, it won't become an indoor issue but I'm not taking any chances. To add to my own pup concerns, I was babysitting for someone else's. I had advised them of the problem beforehand and this little one's colorations and patience did not allow for the same inch by inch inspection that Maggie gets.
I want to start clearing the house of all unused or unnecessary items now..before my kids are burdened with the task. I have a lot of "stuff" collected over the years, both mine and others but the task seems overwhelming
