I bet if I had done my genealogy work on Excel it would have been great. As it is, it's on slips of paper in folders in boxes. I used to remember EVERYTHING, but can't any more, what a shame. I no longer have the time or freedom of mind to put those slips of paper into a genealogy program, so much of it will leave with me. I was always commended for my organizational skills at work, but here at home I took the easy way out. Always looking to the next discovery, and not properly recording the last, except for my handwritten notes. In a way, it may not matter much. I can't find a heck of a lot of my family anyway, most of my lengthy work was on Bob's people. I was considered the go-to by his other family genealogists. But they're all gone now, too, as I soon will be, and uckfay those miserable kids of his who never gave us an even break. They will be the losers of incredible information back to the 1500s.
I don't have a disk for the original Word/Office 2010 as it came installed when I bought the machine. I do believe I have a key number somewhere, if that is of any use.
I'm getting so tired in so many ways, that half the time I don't care. I can't manage what I used to. Que sera sera.
