Thanks for giving such good advice. I started using auto payment when I was paying bills for my uncle and my mom. It was just taking too long and using too many stamps. There helpers got checks as it was too complicated to set up auto pay for them.

I was lucky in that everyone made sure that I knew what and where their bank accounts were and that I was a joint account holder.
