I've heard for years now about moving the grounds and every time I ask how that is going, I get a song and dance and nothing ever happens, and then I hear about tradition. One bird on six courses is not tradition its a tragedy. I'm done helping until something changes. We cleaned a lot of courses over the summer for them not to be used so the could use the six "best" courses. Well how damn good is a course without any birds?
I could come up with a plan at a recommended area that has a 75% chance of working, 25% chance of failing, but not doing anything has a 100% chance of failing. It would take minimal effort by 4-6 dedicated people over the next few months to see if we could make it work. But without "the keys to the car and the credit card to fill the gas tank", I wont even waste my time to get involved.
Rant over, time to get back outside on a perfect fall afternoon to catch up on all the work that was ignored while I was away for a month.
