Certainly Wayne is the Patron Saint of Gladwin, and the Cardinal of Cover Dog Trials. He taught me so much by example and the way he carried himself and related to all others from my first days in field trials back in the mid-eighties. Wayne was smiling EVERY TIME I SAW HIM. He was so knowledgeable, welcoming, and friendly to veterans and newcomers alike. For a man of such stature to be so humble continued to impress me to the present day. What an example for us to emulate! The field trial community mourns the loss of a Truly Great Man. Wayne leaves the legacy of a Genuine Champion. God Bless You Wayne, and Rest in Peace. Love and Condolences to the Fruchey Family.
