Though it has been years since I saw him, we've talked a couple of times. One thing I learned from him was: "Wear a wool jacket in the rain. Even wet, it'll keep you warm." I still have one when I need it. I will always cherish our hunting trips around the Maritime championships in the late 70s, his farm, the sauna, and his very neat woodpile.
