Sincere appreciation to Warren Sims MD who passed over peacefully on 12/27/23. Condolence to Arlene his bride of 50 years. Warren's contribution to hunting sports and international organized field competition are near unparalleled. To me, he exceeded all in patience and generosity of personal time to well teach me bird dog training and sportsmanlike conduct.
Though it has been years since I saw him, we've talked a couple of times. One thing I learned from him was: "Wear a wool jacket in the rain. Even wet, it'll keep you warm." I still have one when I need it. I will always cherish our hunting trips around the Maritime championships in the late 70s, his farm, the sauna, and his very neat woodpile. Requiestcat in pace my friend.
